Court documents from the Oklahoma courtroom described the horrific actions of Lawrence Paul Anderson. The 44-year-old man confessed to stabbing 41-year-old Andrea Lynn Blankenship, 67-year-old Leon Pye, and Kaeos Yates to death “on or about” February 9, 2021, in Chickasha, Okla.
The deranged man admitted to also injuring his aunt Delsie Pye in the attack. Fox News reported that Pye suffered a broken tailbone and ribs and can only see out of one eye. Anderson apparently gouged out the other in a report by the local outlet The Oklahoman.
The Oklahoman reported that Andrea Blankenship was the Pyes’ neighbor. According to the outlet, Anderson confessed to murdering her after breaking through her back door.

Anderson stabbed Blankenship 40 times. He then removed her left eye, stomach, and heart, according to the autopsy report.
Fox News reports that after the brutal attack, Anderson then brought Blankenship’s heart to his aunt and uncle’s house. In his aunt’s kitchen he “cooked the heart with potatoes to feed to his family to release the demons,” said an agent of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
It was after he tried to serve the dead woman’s heart to his family that Anderson then turned his knife on them.
Delsie Pye wrote a victim impact statement that was read in court by Grady County District Attorney Jason Hicks: “I can’t sleep at night without having nightmares of that night.”

“To think a family member of mine could do this heinous crime breaks my heart,” she wrote. “Family means everything to me. As my nephew, I don’t love you but I don’t hate you … I can’t judge you. God will.”
NBC News reports that Anderson pled guilty to three counts of murder in the first degree, one count of assault and battery with a deadly weapon, and one count of maiming. He has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.
