Shop NowAccording to GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, President Trump is attracting more than just traditional Republicans to his rallies in key battleground states.
“We are seeing DEMOCRATS and INDEPENDENTS turn out in droves for @realDonaldTrump’s rallies,” McDaniel said, indicating that a majority of those signing up for the president’s recent rallies in both Rochester, Minnesota, as well as Green Bay, Wisconsin, are “not Republican.”
“These voters are going to make a huge difference on Tuesday!” the GOP Chairwoman added:
We are seeing DEMOCRATS and INDEPENDENTS turn out in droves for @realDonaldTrump’s rallies:
In Rochester, MN:
✅ 53.6% NOT Republican
In Green Bay, WI:
✅ 52.6% NOT Republican
These voters are going to make a huge difference on Tuesday!

On Wednesday, McDaniel gave a similar update following Trump’s two Arizona rallies. Forty-five percent of the people who signed up for the president’s rally in Bullhead City reportedly did not vote in 2016, and almost a quarter of them were “not Republican”:
ARIZONA is fired up and ready to re-elect for @realDonaldTrump!
✅ 23,591 signups for Bullhead City rally
✅ 24.0% NOT Republican
✅ 45.3% (!) did not vote in 2016
Thank you to the thousands of supporters who turned out!

Another huge turnout for @realDonaldTrump!
✅ 17,251 signups for Goodyear rally
✅ 19.5% NOT Republican
✅ 35.7% (!) did not vote in 2016
Thank you to everyone helping keep ARIZONA red in 2020!

The data provided by the GOP Chairwoman comes as polls have continued to tighten in key battleground states. Chief pollster of the Trafalgar Group Robert Cahaly, who correctly predicted Trump’s wins in both Minnesota and Pennsylvania in 2016, has advised that many pollsters may not be accounting for the “hidden” Trump vote.
“In 2016, the worst being said about Trump voters is that they were ‘deplorable.’ 2020 is a whole different ballgame. It is worse this time—significantly worse,” Cahaly said in an interview with Politico.
“This year had more things where you can get punished for expressing an opinion outside the mainstream than almost any year I can think of in modern history,” he continued, adding that he has observed that people are far more “hesitant” to share their actual beliefs out of fear of retribution.
“It’s people getting beat up for wearing the wrong hat, people getting harassed for having a sticker on their car. People just do not want to say anything,” he said.
According to Breitbart, Democrats are “increasingly worried over the prospect of President Trump flipping Minnesota, which has not voted for a Republican presidential candidate in 48 years.”
