At this point, I am thinking Rep. George Santos (R-N.Y.) wishes he never would have run for office.
The con artist turned congressman has just found himself in another pot of hot water.
Santos is being investigated by the FBI for his alleged role in pilfering from a dog charity scam.
Never-ending Drama
Santos has been accused of taking $3,000 that was meant to help a disabled veteran’s cancer stricken dog and spending the money himself.
The man who was supposed to get the money for his dog, Richard Osthoff, a veteran, told Fox News that FBI agents had contacted him about the alleged scam.
Santos reportedly claimed that the vets told him that the dog was untreatable, so he kept the money to put in his own “charity.”
Osthoff maintains he asked Santos to give him the money so he could talk to other vets about treating his dog.
The dog ended up dying on January 15, 2017, but Osthoff did not even have the money for the euthanization and cremation bill, so he ended up begging on the streets for the money.
Mr. McCarthy, please do us all a favor and remove this clown from his seat.
