DeSantis’ inauguration speech this week was phenomenal.
It was exactly what those hoping he will run for president wanted to hear.
Shots Fired
DeSantis hit both the woke crowd and took some shots at the dysfunction in DC right now.
He stated, “Florida is where woke goes to die!
“We will not allow reality, facts and truth to become optional.
“We will never surrender to the woke mob.”
He continued, “Florida’s success has been made more difficult by the floundering federal establishment in Washington, DC.
“It wields its authority through a sprawling, unaccountable and out-of-touch bureaucracy that does not act on behalf of us, but instead looms over us and imposes its will upon us.
“This has caused many to be pessimistic about the country’s future.
“Some even say that failure is inevitable.
“Florida is proof positive that we the people are not destined for failure.”
DeSantis has yet to announce, but with Trump losing support he seems the likely successor to carry the torch.
It is just question if Trump will get on board with the decision or not.
Sadly, I would be very surprised if Trump loses this primary if he does nothing short of telling his supporters to sit out the race to make the party pay for not electing him again.
