Prosecutors are now claiming that Brian Walshe may have beaten his wife, missing mom Ana Walshe, to death and then dumped her remains. This is after law enforcement found internet searches on his son’s iPad about how to dispose of a body.
These horrifying new details were revealed during Brian Walshe’s arraignment on Wednesday morning. He has been arrested on charges that he murdered his wife, who has been missing since Jan. 1.

The Massachusetts man accused of his wife’s murder was slumped over and stared straight ahead as prosecutors mentioned these new facts. Prosecutors went into great detail about Walshe’s whereabouts and the evidence that investigators recovered from the iPad.
Evidence collected from Walshe’s home included about 10 garbage bags that included a hacksaw, hatchet, bloody clothes, bloody rugs, and personal belongings. Items recovered included Ana’s COVID-19 vaccination card and part of what appeared to be her necklace.
The blood found on these items was tested in a crime lab and revealed that it belonged to both Brian and Ana Walshe.
So far investigators haven’t been able to find Ana’s body. Prosecutors seem to believe her remains were incinerated.
Police tracked Brian’s cellphone to follow his whereabouts on Jan. 3, which included an apartment complex in Abington, which is about a 30-minute drive from his home. At this location, Walshe allegedly tossed what appeared to be a heavy garbage bag.

The bags had already been “picked up and taken to a location for shredding and incinerated. By the time police located them, they were already destroyed,” prosecutor Lynn Beland said.
The lack of a body will be a tough hurdle for prosecutors in this case.
Previous searches on Walshe’s internet devices showed he was looking for a divorce. On Dec. 27, Brian Walshe searched the internet about what state is the best for divorce.
“Rather than divorce, it is believed that Brian Walshe dismembered Ana Walshe and then discarded her body,” Prosecutor Beland said.
