Deputy Commissioners Son Ousted as Gang Member

When a “high-ranking Westchester County police official” has a gangster for a son, something is seriously wrong. If “charity” begins at home, so does discipline. Liberal coddling of criminals is the Democrat’s day job. It nearly cost her son his life. If she doesn’t wake up from her “woke” proclivities, his next crime might be his last.

Police official parent

It didn’t take long for police to realize who they had handcuffed to a bed at the emergency room. Local sources are reporting that “Chase Lackard, a reputed member of the ‘Slutty Gang,‘ was wounded in Clason Point shortly after 3 p.m. Friday.” That’s in the Bronx.

Officers “responded to a dispute on White Plains Road involving a firearm and saw the 19-year-old wielding a gun.” They shot him before they knew who his mom was. Oops, sorry boss.

It didn’t take long for the computer to tell them they had nearly killed the son of Mount Vernon PD’s Deputy Commissioner, Jennifer Lackard. She’s been running the department since 2020.

She’s “also a graduate of the NYPD’s Citizen Police Academy and spent time as a representative on a local community board in the Bronx.” One would think gang deterrence would be a priority.

Ms. Lackard hasn’t been answering calls from reporters. That’s probably because “it’s not the first time her son has been involved in gunplay.” The last time, when he was 17, he was “shot in the chest on the BX5 bus in Soundview.” That happened last year.

Apparently there were rival gang members on the same bus. Police generally let them settle things like that between themselves. They just clean up the bodies afterward.

Liberal coddling of criminals is the Democrat’s day job.

Flashing gang signs

Lackard apparently started the bus showdown incident, police relate, by flashing gang signs at two boys, “aged 10 and 12, as he started to get off the bus in January 2023.” Apparently, all three juvenile delinquents were packing heat.

Not getting the proper signs back, he “then asked them for their gang affiliation.” His nearly fatal mistake, that time, was trying to “drag one of them off the bus.

They may have been smaller but their bullets were effective. Police report that “two shots were fired and one struck Lackard’s chest.” He lived through it but didn’t change his ways.

After his latest round of target practice with the cops, he was whisked off to Jacobi Hospital. They plugged up all his leaks and he “remains in stable condition.

Jennifer Lackard made a name for herself in progressive circles with her “School-Community Safety Partnership.” Her brainchild initiative partners with the Mount Vernon school district “to curb teen violence and support at-risk students.

It was created “following the downtown stabbing death of 16-year-old Kayla Green.” Allegedly, “by a 15-year-old rival cheerleader.” Cheerleading can be as cutthroat as drug dealing. Lackard hasn’t indicated any plans to change her career with the Westchester Police, despite her son working the other side of the fence.
