Based upon multiple reports, much of the political world was surprised by the news that Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, according to Fox News’ Shannon Bream, no one was more surprised than Justice Breyer. As the news broke, Bream took to Twitter, posting “Multiple sources tell me Justice Breyer was not planning to announce his retirement today. They describe him as “upset” with how this has played out. We still await any official notice from his office and/or the #SCOTUS public information office.” she later amended this report to state that “while it appears someone jumped the gun on that, better to characterize him as surprised by events today than “upset”.” Breyer who we now know was absolutely planning to retire this year, now being 83-years-old was apparently “blindsided” by the leak. Many others are astounded by the blatant sabotage.

The Washington Examiner reported that miserable polling and severe policy failures are leading many to point an accusatory finger at the White House as the originating source of the leak.
“He is a by-the-book stickler for following protocol. You announce your retirement at the end of terms, not in the middle,” one insider told Secrets today.
“He did not plan for this to leak out. He was just beginning the standard process of winding down,” added the source.

But now, Biden is now trapped, bound to his desperate bid for support from black voters as radicals in on the left say it clearly: WHITES NEED NOT APPLY.

As Anastasia Boushee observed for Patriot United News, “During the presidential campaign, Joe Biden backed himself into a corner regarding potential nominations for a Supreme Court Justice, promising that he would nominate a black woman if he got the chance.”
“I’m looking forward to making sure there’s a black woman on the Supreme Court, to make sure we in fact get every representation,” he said on Feb. 25, 2020.
Biden at that time could never have predicted the composition of the Senate in 2022, or that once again he will find himself at the mercy of Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ). As Jack Posobiec of TPUSA’s Human Events observed,

After over 12 hours of controversy and uncertainty, Justice Breyer officially announced his retirement in a letter to Joe Biden and a Press Conference at the White House later in the day. And the first act of sabotage against the court was complete.
Ultimately the course Biden and his radical Democrat-Socialists have set upon, defined by identity politics which will place a Justice on the Supreme Court who is there expressly to check gender and racial boxes will make any rulings issued by the new justice forever suspect, robbing her of any legitimacy, deserved or otherwise. The supposed champions of racial equality will be found guilty in the judgment of history… of polluting the highest court in America with racial and gender bias, setting the precedent that the Supreme Court is subject to a variant of gender and race ‘quota’.
