Shop NowCNN pollster and chief data analyst Harry Enten highlighted more abysmally poor poll numbers for Democrats when it comes to the economy, pointing out that the bottom has dropped out for the party.
During a Thursday appearance on “CNN News Central” with host John Berman, Enten highlighted the massive drop-off in the Democrat Party’s approval ratings, especially regarding their handling of economic issues since President Donald Trump took office in January.
“This, I think, is a revolt, a revolt that is going on within the Democratic Party right now, Democrats and their leaders,” the pollster said, pointing out that poor polling is reflective of Democrat voters having little-to-no confidence in party leadership.
“I mean, take a look nationally. Democrats on Dem leaders in Congress — the belief that they will do the right thing when it comes to the economy — last year at this time, 80% believed that the Democratic leaders in Congress would do the right thing when it comes to the economy,” he explained.
Enten then pointed to new data showing a dramatic decline in voters’ confidence in the Democrat Party.
“Look at where we are now. That number has been slashed in half — to just 39%. Holy Toledo,” he exclaimed. “That is the lowest number by far in Gallup polling. The lowest previous was just 60%, which is 21 points higher than this.”
“Democrats hate, hate, hate, hate what their congressional leaders in Washington are doing right now on the key issue of the day, the economy. And their confidence has fallen through the floor,” Enten concluded.

Beyond their dismal poll numbers regarding their handling of the economy, Democrats have also hit their lowest overall approval rating in decades, with some polls showing approval for the Democrat Party as low as 21%.
Democrats have a 21% approval rating, per CNN.
That’s with the all of the establishment media, academia, Hollywood, and nearly every major institution in the U.S. pushing their talking points.

This surprising self-reflection from the Democrat CNN pollster comes as the party continues to fight an internal battle between the growing radical left faction and a moderate faction that is shrinking as moderates flee the Democrat Party over their obsession with landing on the wrong side of 80/20 issues like immigration enforcement, transgenderism, and protecting women’s sports and spaces. However, despite the poll numbers and Enten’s commentary, it does not appear that Democrats have learned their lesson from the 2024 election, as they are still doubling down on these bad policies.
Democrats were beaten so badly that all they have left is opposing Trump for the sake of opposition.
At this point they even stand with deported MS-13 members over the American people for the sake of opposition.
