Pete Buttigieg Makes SHOCKING Trump Accusation

Under the Biden Administrations’ control inflation has risen, the United State’s world standing has gone downhill, and infrastructure seems to be crumbling by the minute. The famous Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is now blaming the recent derailment of a train carrying toxic chemicals in Ohio on the Trump administration.

Buttigieg claimed in a press conference on Tuesday evening that his agency had taken a series of steps to improve rail safety through “historic investments.” He continued by claiming that the department was constrained by the previous Trump administration’s actions.

The Department of Transportation (DOT) under Trump withdrew a rule that required trains carrying certain dangerous chemicals to utilize electronically controlled pneumatic (ECP) brakes. However, the truth is that the rule was only proposed at the time and the administration’s reason for withdrawing it was due to proof of the technology’s benefits were inconclusive.

“In the wake of the East Palestine derailment and its impact on hundreds of residents, we’re seeing lots of newfound or renewed (and welcome) interest in our work on rail safety, so I wanted to share more about what we’ve been doing in this area,” Buttigieg tweeted.

“We’re constrained by law on some areas of rail regulation (like the braking rule withdrawn by the Trump administration in 2018 because of a law passed by Congress in 2015), but we are using the powers we do have to keep people safe,” the transportation secretary added. “And of course, I’m always ready to work with Congress on furthering (or in some cases, restoring) our capacity to address rail safety issues.”

Buttigieg has proven inept on many occasions Feb. 3’s train derailment will prove to be the worst thus far. The train was carrying vinyl chloride, a dangerous colorless gas, and was operated by the transportation company, Norfolk Southern Railroad. The train derailed in Columbiana County, Ohio, which is located along the Ohio-Pennsylvania border.

After the derailment, Norfolk Southern opted to release the gas from the derailed cars. Their reasoning was to prevent a potentially disastrous explosion but unfortunately released incredibly dangerous chemical gas into the air. Local residents were told to evacuate the area. At the time the residents were assured it would be safe to return on Feb. 9.

The EPA, Norfolk Southern, and Ohio officials have conducted air monitoring in the eastern Ohio region and claim that the air is safe to breathe. However, locals and experts both have expressed concern that it is dangerous to return to the area. Locals have even reported awful smells and potentially fatal reactions to local animals.
