Depending on the poll, he was up six points or 11, or somewhere in between.
That changed recently, and now he is actually behind.
Not Happening
Rubio is running against Val Demings, a Biden loyalist.
The fact she has managed to catch Rubio in this economy is shameful, but she has.
About three weeks ago, Rubio’s massive lead evaporated.
For two consecutive polls, he was dead even with Demings.
In the latest University of North Florida’s Public Opinion Research Lab survey, he is down by four points.
Demings is now crushing Rubio with Independents, so he better start hitting the pavement.
Let me put it this way… if Rubio cannot hold that seat, there is no way Republicans can even think about taking back the Senate.
They are already in an uphill battle because of Oz, Masters, and Walker.
If we had to add Rubio to that list, Dems keep the Senate and the best we can hope for is to grab the House and turn Biden into a lame duck.
The danger here is that the Senate confirms the confirmations, so Chuck Schumer and company can keep motoring along poisoning our judiciary with activist liberals.
Also, as a side note, if a Justice were to retire or pass, Biden would get another liberal on the Supreme Court.
