Shop NowIt has been safe to say that very little of the Biden administration has been impressive. The interactions officials have had with the media have been a strife with evasions, speech gaffes, and outright lies. Nothing seems to have changed as White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre slipped up during a Thursday press briefing. The liberal media darling accidentally referred to President Biden as “President Obama.”

Jean-Pierre’s gaff comes at the top of the briefing, causing a wave of laughter even from her leftist media protectors.
“So today, as you all saw just an hour or so ago, President Obama announced that—Pardon me, President Biden!” Jean-Pierre said. “Whoa! Ahem, that is news. I know, we’re going back not forwards. We’ve gotta go forwards.”

Her slip of the tongue comes as she announced “President Biden’s” nominee to lead the World Bank.
The mistake comes as rumors continue regarding Biden’s 2024 run for re-election. While the White House insists he “intends to run,” many Democrats have expressed skepticism. The president’s mental health is a large issue debated in the media.
Obama has stood by Biden and has defended his mental health in the past. The former president even ridiculed his own former White House physician when the doctor criticized Biden’s performance.

Biden admitted in October that questions about his age are “totally legitimate.”
“I think it’s a legitimate thing to be concerned about anyone’s age, including mine. That’s totally legitimate. But I think the best way to make the judgment is to, you know, watch me. Am I slowing up? Am I — don’t have the same pace?” the president said in an interview with MSNBC.
