Has the world stopped spinning? Many conservatives wondered this after a CNN commentator said President Donald Trump deserves more credit than he’s getting for his remarkable achievements that have helped black Americans.
CNN Commentator Gives Shocking Announcement
Van Jones is also a former Obama White House advisor who defended President Trump on Friday and praised his work on criminal justice reform.
“I think it’s really unfortunate because Donald Trump, and I get beat up by liberals every time I say it but I keep saying it, he has done good stuff for the black community,” Jones said Friday during a CNN panel discussion on “The Lead with Jake Tapper.
“Opportunity Zone stuff, black college stuff, I worked with him on criminal stuff, I saw Donald Trump have African-American people, formerly incarcerated, in the White House, embraced them, treated them well. There is a side to Donald Trump that I think he does not get enough credit for.”

Conservatives Praise Jones
Many prominent conservatives praised Jones for speaking out against hit cult-like Party who band together to discredit President Trump at every turn.
Black conservative Herschel Walker tweeted: “Because @VanJones68 speaks the truth on @realDonaldTrump people get upset. The American people deserve the truth from the MSM! @FoxNews @CNN @MSNBC @Outkick @espn”
When Trump gets re-elected, it will be disaffected ex-democrat black voters who, in critical swing states, gave him the margin of victory.

Black Votes Isn’t Just for Democrats
Historically, Democrats have gotten the majority of the black vote despite pushing policies that hurt the community.
President Trump said Democrats, including Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, assume they will have the black vote no matter what they do or don’t do in terms of policies.
“They want to take the black vote for granted and they have taken the Black voter for granted,” Trump said in Atlanta last month, according to Bloomberg.
“I did more for the black community in 47 months than Joe Biden did in 47 years,” Trump said.
