If you have been following the news lately, you know that Trump-appointed Judge Cannon has received more than 1,000 ethics complaints.
This was all a hoax perpetrated by a liberal media personality.
Former federal prosecutor and MSNBC legal analyst Glenn Kirschner, as it turns out, was behind it all.
Remove Her
During a recent podcast, Kirschner was having a meltdown over the delays in the classified documents case.
According to Kirschner, Cannon is doing this to help Trump.
Now, he never said anything when Judge McAfee pushed back his hearing dates or when Judge Chutkan delayed the January 6 case months ago, but Cannon decided she wanted to hear all the motions before the trial, and he lost his mind.
So, he posted directions on how to file an ethics complaint, and more than 1,000 did just that, resulting in the review board being bombarded with complaints about Cannon.
The good news is that his little stunt fell on deaf ears, as Judge William Pryor, Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, recognized that this was an “orchestrated campaign” against the judge.
He “Many of the complaints” against Cannon were filed with the “request that the Chief Circuit Judge remove her from the classified-documents case and reassign the case to a different judge.”
To add insult to injury, Judge Pryor slammed Kirschner for telling his followers an improper way to file an ethics complaint against a judge.
This is TDS at a different level.
I will be the first to admit that Cannon has been a “friendly” judge for Trump, but have her rulings been so far over the top to deserve this?
Better yet, she could have outright dismissed the case when Trump’s legal team filed the motion, but she did not.
Methinks Kirschner needs a hug and safe space.
