Donald Trump killed two birds with one stone this week.
Trump was clearly beside himself when he saw an interview on Fox News with former Attorney General Bill Barr.
After Barr said the federal indictments against Trump were legitimate, Trump hammered Barr on Truth Social.
The Attack
Barr has given little credence to the Bragg and Willis case, but he does believe that both cases from special counsel Jack Smith have some teeth.
Trump went after Barr on Truth Social.
He wrote, “Why does FoxNews constantly put on slow thinking and lethargic Bill Barr, who didn’t have the courage or stamina to fight the Radical Left lunatics while he was A.G., and who, even more importantly, refused to fight Election Fraud.
“He knew what was going on, just look at his past remarks! Unless FoxNews starts putting the RIGHT people on, their Ratings will never recover.”
Trump’s base loves these attacks, so the applause and favorable comments were flying on his post.
Barr has been adamant that he does not want to see Trump as the nominee.
Yet, when put on the spot, Barr would not rule out voting for Trump if he gets the nomination.
One thing is for certain, however, and that is that Barr will have no place in the new Trump administration if Trump manages to win the 2024 election.
