Still, the networks are only reporting the aspects of it which fit the Democrat agenda. The network talking heads are strangely silent about some vital topics which were covered, because they don’t fit the liberal narrative.
A productive meeting
Everyone expected the meeting between presidents to be either icy and formal or a heated battle. It was neither one. Both leaders were on their best behavior and put the future of America above personal differences.
Nobody thought they would act like buddies but they both managed to remain calm and cordial, without a single exchange of barbed comments. The election is over so there’s no need for heated rhetoric.
According to Trump, they “both really enjoyed seeing each other.” Sitting down together in the Oval Office was touted as “historic” but it wasn’t as dramatic as Democrats seemed to hope.
“You know, it’s been a long, it’s been a long slog,” the Republican told the press afterward. “It’s been a lot of work on both sides and he did a very good job with respect to campaigning and everything else. We really had a really good meeting.”
Joe apparently appreciated Trump’s comments along the campaign trail calling out Democrats for the callous way they threw him aside in favor of Kamala.
Trump and Biden may have differences of opinion, and Joe may be physically unable to perform his duties but the way progressives pulled his plug was an insult. During the meeting, Biden was “very gracious,” Trump declared, “we got to know each other again.”

Important discussions
The media continues to focus on the transition. They imply relief in their reports that there will be a “peaceful transition of power.” They ignore the fact that’s a two way street. This time around, it’s Biden who’s promising to play nice.
He assured Trump in their meeting that he won’t need to worry about any nasty tricks to prevent the Republican from taking office. The media flips it around to assure their liberal readers that Trump promises not to lead an insurrection and drag Joe away from his desk before January.
Press at the national level is saturated with reports that Trump assured Biden that it would be “as smooth as can be.” Joe promised not have the locks changed but they ignore his assurance.
This meeting was a display of bipartisan “unity” unlike anything anyone has seen since Biden usurped office. The Republican transition team and the Biden White House enjoy a “very, very good relationship.”
There were two big issues the leaders talked about which the media isn’t saying a single word about. One is “the war in Ukraine, which Trump has promised to end almost immediately upon taking office.” The other is “the ongoing war in the Middle East.” Trump already told Putin that “he has weapons, too.” There’s a good chance that Vlad will come up with a reasonable offer to Zelenskyy. One that will end the fighting without it being a “loss” for Ukraine.
Trump also wanted to hear an honest assessment of where Joe stands in his dealings with the Arabs. “I wanted — I asked for his views and he gave them to me,” Trump relates. They “talked very much about the Middle East.” Trump used the meeting to get “his views on where we are and what what he thinks. And he gave them to me, he was very gracious.” Trump has his own ideas but at least has an open enough mind to consider alternatives.
