Shop NowJohn Ratcliffe is an intelligence official with brains. In the prior Trump administration, he served a key role as Director of National Intelligence. On Tuesday, President Donald Trump named him to take over the CIA. The director we have now, William Burns, allowed one of his staff to leak Israel’s attack plans to Iran.
Ratcliffe returns
John Ratcliffe was a refreshing breath of fresh air during the first Trump administration. An intelligence official with intelligence. He took his job seriously, while doing everything in his power to Make America Great Again. His predecessor in that job, Acting DNI Richard Grenell, was equally effective.
Back when Grenell was prying Adam Schiff’s file cabinet open with a crowbar, we were calling him America’s James Bond. It would really be great to see that dynamic duo back in action. Stay tuned, we’re predicting Grenell to be appointed to something interesting in the near future.
As Trump’s cabinet picks are being announced to the public, the optimism for a swamp draining extravaganza keeps growing. Naming Ratcliffe is surely spooking those 51 rats who signed off on the Hunter Biden laptop misdirection. Border Czar Tom Homan plans to begin mass deportation immediately, if not sooner.
Kristi Noem will be a whole lot more cooperative with closing the border than Alejandro Mayorkas, that’s for sure. Marco Rubio will be taking over for Antony Blinken as Secretary of State. Trump won’t be sworn in until January but he’s already on the job.
A proven “Trump loyalist,” Ratcliffe infuriated Democrats who accused him of “politicizing his post.” That’s something the blue team would never dream of, they lie. While announcing the pick, President Trump thanked him.
The former DNI was a wizard at “exposing fake Russian collusion” and “telling the truth” about Hunter Biden’s laptop. That was meant as a shot at the lying spies who took out an op ed against him.

Peace through strength
The best way to win a war is by being strong enough that your enemies are afraid to mess with you. A two-by-two stick studded cross-ways with nails, hidden in the bushes where it’s handy, does wonders to deter that school bully who’s been chasing you home. Ratcliffe gets that.
He’ll be “a fearless fighter for the Constitutional Rights of all Americans, while ensuring the Highest Levels of National Security, and PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH.” Trump loves to use capitol letters for emphasis.
Before taking the job that’s above CIA director, Ratcliffe served as a lawmaker for Texas. He served as DNI from 2020 to 2021. He had to allow Rick Grenell to handle the load for a couple years before then.
Trump had nominated him in 2019 but RINO Republicans “quietly opposed his nomination.” They suggested that he had “overstated his experience.” To avoid trouble for Trump, he bowed out.
A year later, Trump drafted him and he was sworn in as DNI. More recently, Reuters writes, “Ratcliffe has criticized how Democratic President Joe Biden’s administration has approached the conflict in the Middle East.” You could say that.
He personally took out an op-ed arguing that “Biden’s threat to withhold weapons shipments to Israel over its military actions in Gaza had put a key ally at risk. He also argued that the administration had not been tough enough on Iran.” He’s not real friendly with the Pooh Bear, either. “The intelligence is clear. Beijing intends to dominate the U.S. and the rest of the planet economically, militarily and technologically,” Ratcliffe warned.
