On October 7th, 2023, Hamas terrorists abducted two hostages – a Nepalese and Thai civilian – from Israeli territory. The heinous act was recently revealed by security camera footage released by the IDF. This latest evidence confirms that these war criminals are using hospitals and public buildings as terrorist infrastructure in order to facilitate their operations.

The video evidence from Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza reveals what happened between 10:42am – 11:01am on October 7th. It shows the two unarmed hostages surrounded by armed Hamas terrorists who had stripped them down to their underwear before dragging them away. One hostage is severely injured and lying on a stretcher, further signifying how dangerous this situation is for those involved.
With 240 hostages still captive in Gaza from this day alone, it’s clear why this act of terrorism has been largely ignored by the international community.
This isn’t only an issue of human rights violations, but also one of war crimes being committed right under our noses. The IDF added that these findings prove that the Hamas terrorist organization used Al-Shifa Hospital complex as terrorist infrastructure during the Massacre on October 7th.
Any form of terrorism against civilians should be seen as unacceptable and condemned worldwide, yet too often we turn blind eyes when it comes to certain countries or regions because we fear upsetting powerful nations or sparking political tensions between governments.
It’s time for us to take action and ensure that no more innocent lives are lost due to acts of terror like these ones taken place in Israel. We must call out any forms of violence against civilians no matter where they occur.
