Ron DeSantis just scored a huge win for parents in Florida.

The bill that has become known as the “don’t say gay bill” has been protected by a federal judge.

The judge ordered the group that had come forward to try to have the bill struck down did not have legal standing to do so.

Not Happening

The parental rights bill that DeSantis signed into law was about allowing parents and children to have age-appropriate gender-related conversations.

So, teachers with face piercings, purple hair, and who identify as cats are not able to conduct these conversations and suggest to an 8-year-old that because they picked up a Barbie, they are probably a girl.

Obviously, the liberal horde fought back against that idea, but common sense has won out.

U.S. District Judge Allen Winsor struck down the legal challenge.

Winsor stated that the suit was more about the mere existence of the law and the plaintiffs had failed to prove that anyone was actually harmed by the law, as they had claimed.

In other words, it was just outrage with no substance.

Bryan Griffin, press secretary for DeSantis, stated, “Thanks to Governor DeSantis, the Parental Rights in Education law empowers parents and protects children. It’s common sense.

“We appreciate that the courts continue to recognize this and reject activist attempts to overturn the duly enacted laws of the state of Florida.”
