A man that has been on the run from Vladimir Putin since 2015 has been taken out.
Tumso Abdurakhmanov has reportedly been hiding in Sweden since 2015.
He has been a vocal critic of Putin ally Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov.
Taken Out
1ADAT, an anonymous dissident Telegram channel, reported, “Unfortunately the rumors about his death turned out to be true.
“Tumso was shot at night by a group of people and at the moment the details of the murder are being investigated.”
Chechen dissident leader Anzor Maskhadov has confirmed the killing.
Where the hit took place is still a mystery, as neither group referenced Sweden in the announcement.
This was the second attempt on Abdurakhmanov’s life.
Two years ago, two Russian men were arrested and charged with attempted murder.
One of the men later revealed that he was offered 50,000 Euros to kill Abdurakhmanov.
He would appear to be the fourth man murdered for being a vocal critic of Kadyrov.
Kadyrov is a warlord in charge of the Russian region of Chechnya.
