New poll shows Trump leading in Florida

Oh Heck Yes! New Poll Shows a BIG Trump Win

A new poll from Florida shows good news for President Donald Trump, as he takes the lead over Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

The new poll, from Orlando’s Fox35 and InsiderAdvantage, gives Trump a 46-43 advantage over Biden, with one percent support for Libertarian candidate Jo Jorgenson, and ten percent undecided.

This poll of 400 likely Florida voters was conducted from October 6-7, and was taken after three key events: President Trump’s COVID diagnosis, the president leaving Walter Reed Hospital, and the first presidential debate.

It is important to note that President Trump’s three point lead is inside the poll’s 4.9 percent margin of error.

“These results are still within the margin of error, so Florida remains up for grabs. But to paint it blue or red on any projected electoral map at this point would be pure folly,” pollster Matt Towery Sr. said.

Towery, the founder of InsiderAdvantage, said that the president’s support among the black community has increased. He believes that many other polls are missing this growth.

“Once again, based on poor data and or weighting, many of the polls we are seeing simply are not picking up the actual level of support for President Trump. What stands out in this poll is that Trump is actually picking up 12% of the African American vote in the Sunshine State,” Towery said.

Winning Florida, which is now the president’s home state, is key in his bid for re-election. According to Breitbart, “Its 29 electoral votes would go a long way in securing Trump a second term, and without them Trump would need to be near-perfect in several states.”

Trump won Florida by only 1.2% of the vote in 2016. Republicans kept up the winning streak in Florida in 2018, with Governor Ron DeSantis and Senator Rick Scott both winning their respective elections, beating well-funded Democrat challengers in both races.
