Newt Gingrich Discusses Two Perfect Swamp Draining Ops

You may remember Newt Gingrich, who once served as Republican House Speaker. He’s the one who came up with that whole “Contract with America” thing about 30 years ago. He recently appeared on a podcast to talk about Donald Trump’s thrilling cabinet picks. He considers them a perfect start toward “reshaping the government.” The former Georgia lawmaker sees two perfect swamp-draining opportunities. Purging the Pentagon is one of them. The other is a focus on replacing Democrat leadership at the city government level, with conservatives who will dare to prosecute criminals.

Gingrich backs Trump

Newt Gingrich gives President Donald Trump a lot of credit for “reshaping the government with unexpected cabinet picks.” Appearing on a conservative political podcast, the former Georgia lawmaker and Speaker of the House told listeners he’s “watching President Trump create the most reform-oriented cabinet in my lifetime.

Conservative America has been roaring their approval, as one heavy-hitting name after another has been revealed.

Gingrich was thrilled with Trump’s nominations of Tulsi Gabbard, Marco Rubio and Pete Hegseth. That’s the start of an “amazing team.” Those names in particular highlight the need for “a complete overhaul” at the Pentagon. Those drag-queen generals have got to go.

Naming a newscaster to run the Department of Defense may seem odd but not to Trump. “It’s going to take enormous courage and resilience on the part of Pete Hegseth to survive over there because the whole old order is going to try to destroy him.

Gingrich doesn’t care if Hegseth has a military background because the Secretary of Defense job is much more of a political interface. The generals give the marching orders.

According to various reports, Trump’s gearing up to fire all the dead weight generals we currently have and replacing them with the best and most reliable of the up and coming officers. Hegseth impresses the former speaker with his attitude.

Have every three and four star general retire.

A complete overhaul

Gingrich is convinced that Hegseth’s “unique background would allow him to give the military the restructuring it needs.” The Capitol Hill veteran has been “actively involved in thinking about and working on defense for an extraordinarily long time. And I can tell you, the building needs a very complete overhaul.

He’s been clued in by a “senior person in the military who retired.” They’re also working directly with Trump. He “would recommend the president have every three and four star general retire and then go down to two stars to pick a whole new generation of leaders.

Between “Obama and Biden, the whole system has just been undermined and corrupted.” John Thune will make a great Senate Majority Leader. Gingrich calls him a “good guy” who “bridges everybody.” He likes Mike Johnson, too.

He’s not jealous that the Louisiana lawmaker is carrying the gavel he once held. Johnson, Newt chuckles, has the “hardest job in Washington today.

Trump’s team is shaping up as just what America needs to clean up our crime-infested cities. “I think one of Trump’s commitments ought to be to try to turn the cities red,” Gingrich declared. “So that they actually have jobs, have safety and have decent, honest government.

The closeness of the race showed how upset grassroots democrats are with the lawlessness and anarchy of progressive policies. Installing conservative leadership at the city and local levels, Gingrich observes, “now, that’s a pretty good project.
