New York Governor Kathy Hochul was supposed to meet with President Donald Trump. Their February 13 conference was “abruptly postponed” after the governor was charged by Attorney General Pam Bondi. She’s not afraid of being arrested and shipped off to El Salvador, she claims. She’ll have her face time with the president next week. When there will be other governors around for protection.

New York sanctuary

The state of liberal confusion called New York offers illegal aliens the “sanctuary” of shelter from federal immigration laws. They were allowed to get away with it under the Biden regime but Donald Trump won’t put up with lawless nonsense.

Governor Kathy Hochul was named by AG Bondi on a federal lawsuit, filed February 12.

Two other state officials were named in a complaint alleging New York has been “impeding” the deportation crackdown. That meant Governor Hochul’s lunch meeting with Trump wasn’t going to happen.

He might have Tom Homan hanging around with a set of handcuffs, waiting to haul her away to jail. Or worse. El Salvador has a supermax prison they offered to fill with any “criminals” we chose to send them. Including American citizens.

While Hochul canceled out at “the last second,” the White House and her staff “tentatively agreed” to have “a sit down next week during her visit to Washington, D.C., for the National Governors Association meeting.

Not only does New York shelter migrants in luxury hotels, they have a no questions asked driver license policy.

Green light law

Our newly confirmed Attorney General, Pam Bondi, heard about Hochul’s progressive “Green Light Law” and started seeing red. “New York has chosen to prioritize illegal aliens over American citizens. It stops. It stops today.

It’s a good thing Ohio didn’t offer that because Haitians are reportedly some of the world’s worst drivers.

The Driver’s License Access and Privacy Act, commonly called the ‘Green Light Law,” Bondi told the press, “allows all New Yorkers age 16 and older to apply for a standard, not-for-federal purpose, non-commercial driver license or learner permit regardless of their citizenship or lawful status in the United States.

Don’t ask don’t tell, New York style.

That means, Bondi explains, “You do not need a Social Security card to apply for a license or permit. Under the Driver’s License Access and Privacy Act, driver license applicants who have never been issued a Social Security Number are eligible to apply.” The New York DMV confirms that.

Hochul is afraid someone from DOGE will show up and start looking for those who applied without divulging a Social Security number. “There’s no way I’m letting federal agents, or Elon Musk’s shadowy DOGE operation, get unfettered access to the personal data of any New Yorker in the DMV system like 16-year-old kids learning to drive and other vulnerable people.” New York is about to learn a lesson about “aiding and abetting.
