Shop NowIn yet another conspiracy reported by the mainstream media, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) executed a DOJ-approved search warrant on former President Donald Trump’s Florida home because they believed that the Former President held onto classified information that was supposed to be sent back to the National Archives earlier this year.
The 15 boxes of material that the FBI took from Trump’s Florida residence at Mar-A-Lago, has the media claiming all the boxes were supposed to be returned anyway. That some of the boxes included documents marked as “top secret,” that Trump kept until there was a serious risk of legal action if not returned.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the search warrant was executed “in part because they believed additional classified information remained at the private club.”
It has been reported that FBI agents removed about 15 boxes of material from the property, which is being sorted at a local FBI field office.
What is new information is that agents were reportedly at the property the entire day. Dressed in plain clothes, the agents lead staff to believe that they were U.S. Secret Service agents, which is why news of the executed search warrant did not leak. A source told Fox News “they were not being judicious about what they took.”
The Secret Service agents assigned to Trump were notified about the raid only moments before it occurred. Lawyers representing Trump’s interests were present during the raid while he was at his residence in New York City.
Apparently, federal prosecutors opened a grand jury investigation in May in order to look into Trump’s handling of classified material that ended up at his home in Mar-a-Lago.
These types of investigations are usually for federal authorities to figure out if any classified material has been compromised so that intelligence officials can take steps to protect sensitive sources and methods.
“These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents,” Trump said in a statement. “After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate.”
“They even broke into my safe!” Trump said. “It is political targeting at the highest level!”
