Reports broke this week that additional NATO forces are bulking up the Russian and Ukrainian borders.
This will surely be seen as a sign of aggression from Russia, so it may only be a matter of time before this turns into WWIII.
Getting Ready
Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak confirmed that additional Polish troops were protecting the border with Belarus.
However, he insists this is only being done as a deterrent against Russia.
He stated, “There is no doubt that the Belarus regime is cooperating with the Kremlin and that the attacks on the Polish border are intended to destabilize our country.”
Russia and Minsk, however, are seeing this as an aggressive act…

Belarusian independent analyst Valery Karbalevich stated that the Kremlin’s “main goal is to rattle Warsaw to decrease the military support for Ukraine and force Polish politicians to stay silent and fear provocations from Russia and Belarus.”
He continued, “The Kremlin ramps up the hate towards Poland and ups the ante in the hope that the adversary will get scared, pull back or will react in a different way.
“Moscow very much doesn’t like that it is Poland that insists on new sanctions, advocates for Kyiv and actively supports Ukraine’s accession to the EU and NATO.”
This entire situation is a ticking time bomb, which is exactly what Ukrainian President Zelensky is hoping for.
From the reports I have seen, Ukraine may be running out of troops, and Zelensky’s recent statements make it clear he wants NATO countries to help defend Ukraine.
All it takes is one misfired weapon, and we will all be in WWIII.
