Man Climbs Tallest Building in San Francisco to…

A 22-year-old college student who describes himself as the “Pro-Life Spiderman” was arrested after free climbing to the top of the tallest building in San Francisco, (and arguably California) Salesforce Tower. Maison DesChamps says that he climbed the tower to raise awareness and money for the pro-life cause. Surprised onlookers watched the climb from outside and inside the building as DesChamps occasionally paused to post videos on social media.

Climber paused to promote pro-life cause

The University of Nevada Las Vegas senior arrived in San Francisco and immediately set out to begin his climb.

He claims that he had already planned the stunt a month in advance and that the timing of the Roe v. Wade leak the night before was simply a happy coincidence.

Last year DesChamps scaled a hotel in Las Vegas to protest Covid-19 restrictions; he was arrested when he reached the top but the charges were subsequently dropped.

Police officers were waiting for him on the roof of Salesforce Tower and he was once again arrested and charged for  trespassing and ignoring orders from police to stop the climb.

He was briefly handcuffed and taken into custody but was soon released. The pro-life activist had completed his 1,070-foot climb in only two hours with occasional pauses to post videos and promote his cause on Instagram.

He appeared to be entirely unconcerned about falling and reported that his only regret was not bringing enough water for the strenuous climb.

Calls for arrest of D.C. abortionist

San Francisco residents and other observers, including liberals, were initially impressed by the climber’s athleticism and carefree demeanor.

Once it became known that DesChamps is a pro-life activist, opinions immediately changed and some journalists began to lament that he had survived the climb.

“These doctors are literally killing these babies on the table and leaving them out to die” said DesChamps as he explained his motives for the attention-grabbing performance.

His stated goals were to raise money for the cause and to call for the arrest of Washington D.C. area abortionist Cesare Santangelo.

Pro-life activists recently discovered hundreds of aborted babies unceremoniously discarded in trash boxes outside of Santangelo’s office.

It may have been a coincidence , but the timing of the climb couldn’t have been better for DesChamps as came immediately after news emerged of the greatest pro-life victory of the last 50 years.
