In a Twitter post gone viral, Colorado Republican Representative Lauren Boebert channeled her inner Ronald Reagan, calling out Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi for the socialist-style lockdown of Washington, D.C.

“I’m Lauren Boebert. A mom, a small business owner, a defender of freedom. Here’s what I know. You protect what you love. President Trump built a big beautiful wall because he loves America. He wanted to secure our country, and protect us from drugs, illegal aliens pouring into our communities, and sex traffickers,” Boebert begins.
“Democrats, they fought him every step of the way. And now, welcome to Fort Pelosi, where Democrats decry walls from within their own heavily guarded razor wire wall,” she says as she walks along the barbed wire fence surrounding the Capitol building.
“Democrats don’t want to protect you, because they don’t care about you. But they’ll spare no expense protecting themselves,” Boebert continues.
The video then plays clips of Hillary Clinton arguing against the construction of the border wall, Joe Biden stating: “There will not be another foot of wall constructed in my administration,” and Nancy Pelosi claiming: “I’m not for a wall.”
Obviously, these prominent Democrats don’t want a wall protecting you, they want a wall protecting them.
“It’s time to cut the crap and remember: this is the People’s House,” Boebert continues.
“Madam Speaker, tear down this wall!” Boebert exclaims, harkening back to former President Ronald Reagan‘s famous address at the Brandenburg Gate on June 12, 1987.
