Poor Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.V.).
The man cannot catch a break lately, and now he has just buried himself.
Manchin was talking smack about the media in this country on one of the worst possible stages.
They Are the Problem
Manchin was sitting around with his elite buddies at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
They were discussing the media when Manchin chimed in.
He stated, “The problem that we have is the open press system and basically all the platforms.
“So if you’re able to have five platforms, social platforms that you can basically personify the extremes, somebody who is extremely right or extremely left, and it seems like that is the majority speaking, they’re not the majority, but they’re basically driving everybody to make a decision.”
Needless to say, that did not go over well.
Manchin went on Fox News later in the week to apologize and try to explain, but I don’t see it helping him too much…
It would not be surprising at all to see Manchin lose his seat in 2024.
