Comer has been blocked by the DHS to get the information he needed from the Secret Service.
He has now issued subpoenas to the DHS and Secret Service.
Done Playing Games
Comer dropped the hammer on Tuesday.
He stated, “The Department of Justice initiated the Biden family coverup and now DHS under the leadership of Secretary Mayorkas is complicit in it.
“Investigators were never able to interview Hunter Biden during the criminal investigation because Secret Service headquarters and the Biden transition team were tipped off about the planned interview.
“The Department of Homeland Security is obstructing our investigation by muzzling the Secret Service from providing a response to Congress.
“The American people deserve transparency, not obstruction.”
I think it is pretty clear that Biden gave the DOJ orders to protect Hunter.
Hopefully, these subpoenas will get Comer the information he needs to prove that.
Something tells me, however, that the DHS and Secret Service are still going to resist, and this will wind up in the courts.
