We have some common-sense legislation hitting the books in Mississippi.
Minors in Mississippi can no longer receive gender-affirming care in the state.
Now the maniacs will have to wait until the children are of age to be able to mutilate their bodies.
Protecting the Kids
I have been reading quite a bit into his lately in terms of the decisions being made to offer this care to children.
I read one story where a 2-year-old boy liked a dress, so his mother decided her son wanted to be a girl.
In far too many cases, what most of us would consider to be childhood curiosity is interpreted as a gender-transitioning case.
It is as though some parents are almost hoping their child identifies as a different gender so they can be the supportive parents as their child transitions.
I have also read the horror stories from examples such as this when these children are no longer children and realize they made a horrible mistake.
Gov. Tate Reeves did the right thing by signing this legislation.
He stated, “At the end of the day, there are two positions here.
“One tells children that they’re beautiful the way they are.
“That they can find happiness in their own bodies.
“The other tells them that they should take drugs and cut themselves up with expensive surgeries in order to find freedom from depression.
“I know which side I’m on.”
As do I…
