Since so very many of their employees work remotely these days, Twitter owner Elon Musk stated that he is seriously thinking about Twitter’s head office into a homeless shelter.
Musk initially teased the concept in a Twitter survey, asking, “Convert Twitter SF HQ to homeless shelter given that nobody appears anyhow”
With more than 1.5 million votes cast, more than 91% of participants reacted “y,” or yes.
Musk later expanded on the concept, “I’m serious about this one btw.”

Musk’s tweets come after it was exposed that he ended up being Twitter’s biggest investor after he bought a 9.2% stake in the social networks platform.
Musk stated that he was giving “serious thought” to introducing a brand-new social networks platform that would be transparent with its algorithms, focus on free speech, and would keep propaganda to a minimum.
Musk, who is the co-founder of Tesla and creator of SpaceX, made the remarks in reaction to a tweet that asked, “Would you consider building a new social media platform, @elonmusk?”
“One that would consist an open source algorithm, one where free speech and adhering to free speech is given top priority, one where propaganda is very minimal,” the tweet continued. “I think that kind of a platform is needed.”
Musk responded, “Am giving serious thought to this.”
Musk carried out a casual survey late in March, which specified: “Free speech is essential to a functioning democracy. Do you believe Twitter rigorously adheres to this principle?”
More than 2 million individuals reacted to the survey with 70.4% stating that Twitter did not comply with the concept.
“The consequences of this poll will be important,” Musk continued. “Please vote carefully.”
“Buy Twitter,” political commentator Mike Cernovich responded. “If you’re a leftist making death threats against conservatives. or organizing riots, Twitter respects your freedom of speech. Twitter also respects the freedom of speech for media hoaxes like when every major outlet framed an innocent Covington high school kid.”
“Is a new platform needed?” he asked.
” Buy Twitter,” political analyst Mike Cernovich reacted. Twitter likewise appreciates the flexibility of speech for media scams like when every significant outlet framed an innocent Covington high school kid.”
Musk responded, “Doesn’t sound very balanced.”
