Matt Trowbridge, a former politician who is now working in a nursing home, was recently busted by an activist group called Predator Poachers of Massachusetts.
The group does “To Catch A Predator” style stings and posts them on YouTube.

Trowbridge ran for office in 2009, but he had to drop out due to personal matters in 2010.
The predator poachers caught him trying to meet up with a 14-year-old boy through the app Grindr.
He sent sexually explicit messages and asked when the child’s mother would be leaving – which removed all plausible deniability that he believed he was speaking to an adult.

After being exposed, Matt Trowbridge deleted his social media accounts as well as any other online presence that could have been associated with him.
This is common for predators who are caught in these types of situations; they try to erase their digital footprint as much as possible in order to avoid further consequences for their actions.
