Criminal Democrat Leaders Exposed, Jail Time is Coming

Two Texas Democrat Leaders who to rights should be bound for a jail cell in Austin, are instead living it up in Portugal while their constituents go unrepresented. According to reports from the Lone Star State, they didn’t just skip the state for Washington, D.C. they skipped the country!

State Representatives Julie Johnson and Jessica González’s whereabouts couldn’t be accounted for by the Texas House Democratic Caucus according to the Texas Tribune neither of the Representatives or their staff responded to requests for comment either August 3 or 4th. That would’ve been the end of the story, except for a tweet that dropped from Texas Monthly reporter Jonathan Tilove.

“Hi. Covering the TXDEMS in DC for @TexasMonthly. Can confirm @juliejohnsonTX and her wife & @jessicafortexas and her fiancé are in Portugal for a vacation they had been planning, with non-refundable tickets, for a year-and-a-half. Still participating in caucus meetings via ZOOM.”

According to AmericanMilitaryNews,

“On July 13, those members of the Texas state House who remained in Texas voted 76-4 to deploy law enforcement to track down and arrest those 58 Democrats who fled the state.”

The San Antonio Express-News, reported that Rep. González was dismissive of the allegations she was vacationing in Portugal, saying “I don’t respond to rumors,” she continued “No one has shown proof. These are rumors, period. End of story.”

Rep. Dan Crenshaw and The Texas GOP Pounce On The Democrat Fugitives

Congressman Dan Crenshaw jumped on the story pretty immediately asking prayers for the “heroic Texas Democrats as they suffer away from home, in Portugal”

Texas Representative Tom Oliverson tweeted, “Wow, just wow.  Had to cancel my family’s vacation last week to Grand Teton because of a special session they helped create back in May. Texas deserves better than this. #txlege”

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has seemingly lost any sense of humor regarding his Democrat Representative’s grandstanding.

“I will continue to call special session after special session to reform our broken bail system, uphold election integrity, and pass other important items that Texans demand and deserve,” Abbott said in a statement to Fox News.  “Passing these Special Session agenda items will chart a course towards a stronger and brighter future for the Lone Star State,” Abbott said.
