Shop NowIn Minneapolis, MN unknown gunmen in a light colored SUV opened fire on National Guard troops deployed to provide security during the trial of Derek Chauvin, According to sources with the Minnesota National Guard the shooting happened in the early morning while security teams were patrolling the area. TwinCities.com reported the drive-by shooting took place at 4:19 AM
Two Guardsmen recieved medical treatment following the attack for lacerations caused by broken glass. Others in the patrol suffered superficial injuries only. In an impressive show of restraint, the National Guard troops did not return fire on the vehicle as the assailants fled.
ToddStarnes.com reported, “I am relieved to know none of our Guardsmen were seriously injured,” said Maj. Gen. Shawn Manke, the Adjutant General of the Minnesota National Guard. “This event highlights the volatility and tension in our communities right now. I ask for peace as we work through this difficult time.”
Gunmen Incited to Attack on the National Guard
This shocking attack happened mere hours after Congresswoman Maxine Water (D-CA) joined rioters in Brooklyn Center who were chanting in the streets in violation of curfew, even by itself this is unacceptable behavior from a member of Congress. However, the serial-inciter made matters worse when she began calling upon the rioters to “get more confrontational” and “stay in the street”.
Rep. Waters told the gathered crowd,
“We’re looking for a guilty verdict.”
“If nothing does not happen: then we know, that we’ve got to not only stay in the street, but we’ve got to fight for justice.” “You’ve got to get more confrontational, You’ve got to make sure that they know that we mean business.”
OANN’s Jack Posobiec tweeted the video,

Rep. Water’s behavior is consistent with both her and other leftist’s repeated calls for violence throughout the BLM movement, usually targeting the Trump administration.
Backlash from Congressional Republicans has been switft, however without any real power in The House or the Senate, any meaningful consequences to the California Democrat seem unlikely, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) tweeted, “Maxine Waters is inciting violence in Minneapolis — just as she has incited it in the past. If Speaker Pelosi doesn’t act against this dangerous rhetoric, I will bring action this week.”

Arizona’s Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) retweeting Fox News’ coverage of Water’s comments wrote,
“The Radical Left don’t care if your towns are burning, if there’s violence in your streets, or if the police are too defunded to defend their communities. As long as the Left appeases their anti-America base, their job is done.”
Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-CO) took an even firmer stance, calling for Greene’s expulsion from Congress. While Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer have publicly criticized Waters’ incitements in the past, no meaningful punishments have ever been handed down by the Democrat leadership, terrified of angering the Black Lives Matter/Antifa, Democrat-Socialist base who support the violent rhetoric Waters is well known to spew.
Niether the Biden-Harris regime or Democrat Congressional leadership have made any statements on Waters’ actions at this time.
.@RepMaxineWaters told BLM terrorists to "stay on the streets" and "get more confrontational."
BLM terrorists took her orders and took action.
She should be expelled from Congress. https://t.co/vJF9etntnk
