Democrats brought a wounded horse to this race, but publicly, they all still claim that Biden is their guy.
Behind the scenes, however, staffers are saying something completely different.
Politico just published a report that shows just how shaky Biden’s own people believe his chances are in this election.

Polling has not been kind to Biden during this cycle, and with Trump now being convicted on charges most people believe were bogus, I would suspect Trump’s numbers are only going to get better.
Even so, Biden surrogates insist the numbers are going to get better for Joe, but behind the scenes, there is pure panic.
One Democrat operative explained, “You don’t want to be that guy who is on the record saying we’re doomed, or the campaign’s bad or Biden’s making mistakes. Nobody wants to be that guy.”
The operative added, “The list of why we ‘could’ win is so small I don’t even need to keep the list on my phone.”
The Biden campaign, however, continues to act as though it is ahead, recently stating, “Trump’s photo-ops and PR stunts may get under the skin of some very serious DC people as compelling campaigning, but they will do nothing to win over the voters that will decide this election.”
Biden is currently polling behind Trump in all but one battleground state, and he continues to trail Trump nationally.
Not only that, but two deep blue states, New Jersey and New York, and now back in play for Trump.
Biden’s lead in New York has been cut to a mere nine points, which is about half of what he won the state by in the last election.
And Trump is now almost within the margin of error in New Jersey.
If Trump can win either of those states, Joe Biden will be handing Donald Trump the keys to the White House in January.
