Joe Biden thinks everyone will believe him but we don’t. On January 20, literally minutes before handing the White House keys to Donald Trump, Joe “preemptively pardoned five family members.” Since they hadn’t been charged with anything, that makes it look a whole lot like they were guilty of something serious. Don’t mistake it for an admission of guilt or anything, Joe insists. That statement proves how demented he really is, conservatives say.
Biden family pardon
The Biden family wasn’t looking forward to holding their next reunion in a prison yard. Knowing how bad the optics are, Joe saved his final wave of the magic pen for when he was on the way out the door.
As left leaning Axios gloats, Joe “preemptively pardoned five family members on Monday, minutes before turning the office of the presidency over to Donald Trump.”
Joe thinks that the American public will actually believe that the unprecedented pardons “protect his family against political attacks.” Trump has a grudge against the whole family, he insists, motivated “solely by a desire to hurt me.”
The truth is that Congress was hot on the Biden family money laundering trail. They have clues leading to China, Russia, and other assorted enemies of the United States.
Hunter was previously pardoned for any crime he may have even thought about committing between 2014 and 2024. Joe’s brother James Biden had been hauled in front of more than one congressional committee to give testimony.
Joe’s other brother Frank had made a few headlines but hadn’t been tied to the family influence peddling allegations, yet. Sister Valerie has likewise evaded congressional scrutiny but her close relationship with Joe had everyone suspecting she’d be next to get a subpoena.

An extraordinary move
Joe was looking for something spectacular to leave behind as legacy. He found one, but it’s not as great as he had hoped. His entire family ends up looking a whole lot like an organized criminal enterprise.
Even the liberals were shocked at the “extraordinary move that shields members of the Biden family from any efforts by the new administration to prosecute them.”
The day before he outraged conservatives by pardoning Anthony Fauci and Liz Cheney in advance of any charges.

At the last moment, Joe signed off on another blanket pardon giving get out of jail free cards to James and Francis Biden, his sister, Valerie, and their spouses. Don’t take that as a sign of guilt or anything, though.
“The issuance of these pardons should not be mistaken as an acknowledgment that they engaged in any wrongdoing, nor should acceptance be misconstrued as an admission of guilt for any offense,” Joe Biden declared in writing for the official record.
Maybe Democrats will believe that the Biden family “has been subjected to unrelenting attacks and threats, motivated solely by a desire to hurt me,” but the House Oversight Committee isn’t buying it. Neither is the Judiciary Committee. Over in the senate, Charles Grassley and several others are fuming in anger.
