After inviting them all to come on in, for practically guaranteed “asylum,” Joe Biden and Alejandro Mayorkas appear to be going back on their word. The cartels aren’t making any money off the migrants using the CBPOne app so they’re more than happy to bring as many across as they can, while it’s still possible.
Border invasion brewing
Recent counts report “up to 40,000 migrants have gathered on the Mexican side of the border.” Each and every one is “ready to enter the U.S.” any way they can, legal or not.
Federal officials are finally becoming “concerned about the mayhem that might occur when Title 42 expires next month.” It doesn’t help that everyone tells them once they’re in, they’re home free.
As Latin Times reports, “hundreds of migrants a day are once more crossing into El Paso and handing themselves to border agents.” It appears they’ve been “misinformed.”

They’re coming on across “because migrants in Juarez, Mexico, are sick of waiting or falling for internet scams that lead them to believe they will be granted asylum.” Right this minute we have “intel that there’s between 10,000 and 40,000 people waiting to cross over,” one police official relates.
According to the Border Patrol, on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 12, “a sizable group of over 750 migrants turned themselves in.” The next day “several more migrants turned themselves over.” It’s overwhelming the system again. With migrants crossing en masse, it makes “the tasks of processing and ejecting them an enormous job for the authority.”
Recently, they had a break because Mayorkas has been flying the illegals in directly to America’s heartland. Those are the ones lucky enough to score an appointment through the daily lottery system. The rest don’t like what they’re hearing. Rumors suggest if they do get across, they’re likely to be turned right back around.
Cartel disinformation
The reason that huge groups of migrants have been lining up to surrender in El Paso is all the “fake information spread on social media by drug cartels, who would prefer them to pay to be smuggled over the border.” It’s all about the money.
“The cartels don’t make any money by migrants sitting around waiting for the CBP One appointment.”
That’s why authorities “launched a social media campaign to set the record straight.” That’s certain to stop the invasion, conservatives scoff. Meanwhile, CBP is overwhelmed. “When hundreds of people cross over onto American soil at a time, the process of processing and then expelling them takes a few days, during which time they have to be housed and fed.”

There are so many of them, officials are flying the overflow “to other border towns like Laredo and San Diego so that they can be processed and ejected.”
The upcoming end of Title 42 was supposed to be the big signal that all those waiting patiently at the gates would finally be allowed in. Now they’re learning that Biden is daring to bring back the Trump policies and send them back. They’re furious “Many have waited months in Mexico in the hopes that something will change that will allow them to legitimately request asylum.”
They aren’t going to get across the border as easy as they expected. “A new immigration law that would mandate asylum seekers to ask for protection in every nation they pass through before arriving in the U.S. has been suggested by the Biden administration.” That means “Frenetic migrants could storm any of the city’s numerous international crossings due to the complexity and constantly changing legislation.“
