Conservative spitfire Lauren Boebert won a congressional seat in Colorado which has become an increasingly blue territory.
Blue Colorado Has a Red Streak
Rep. Boebert is a mother of four and small business owner which makes her a breath of fresh air to Republicans in the state who have dealt with power-hungry Democrat politicians infiltrating Colorado.
Before winning Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District, the conservative rose to fame when she challenged radical Beto O’Rourke over his desire to confiscate Americans’ guns.
Her response to Beto was “hell no” on his gun confiscation plans.

Hell No to Gun Confiscation
Last September in the city of Aurora, a woman showed up in a heavily liberal crowd with a gun holstered to her side. This was a rally when O’Rourke was running for president.
That woman was Lauren Boebert.
“There is no reasonable gun legislation. There is none,” she said, adding that favorite refrain of Second Amendment purists: “The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.”
She owns a restaurant in Rifle, CO where the servers have a signature trademark – they wear guns on their hips.
In an ever-growing blue state, many were unsure if residents would elect her over her Democrat challenger Diane Mitsch Bush.

Republican Women Breaking Records
In a whole new territory, the gun-toting Republican headed to Washington D.C. to start preparing to take office in January. Boebert helped make history when she joined 13 other Republican women who won their political races.
“It’s an incredible honor to join so many women in the GOP who won their elections. I’m excited in Colorado’s 3rd District I am not only the first female to represent that district, but I’m the first mom. And it’s an incredible honor to bring those values to Washington, D.C. in a time where I think we need more common sense and more citizen-led legislature,” Boebert said.
While Colorado continues to go blue, there are still residents willing to fight to conserve liberty and electing Boebert shows just that.
