Unfortunately, when she worked so hard to graft herself onto what was expected to be a triumphant moment for the administration, she ensured that she will share the blame for the most painful humiliation of the American people since Vietnam. Kyle Becker tweeted that according to a White House source, “Harris was reportedly pressed to give an update on Afghanistan to the American people but refused. According to a Politico story published in April 2021, Harris confirmed to CNN’s Dana Bash “that she was the last person in the room before President Joe Biden made the decision to pull all U.S. troops out of Afghanistan.” and that this is something that Biden has said, “is important to him in his working relationship with the vice president.” So assuredly Harris was counseling Biden in his decision. Harris also seemed to envisage that this could potentially backfire four months ago as she noted that Biden “is acutely aware that it may not be politically popular, or advantageous for him personally; it’s really something to see.”

It is incredibly doubtful that Harris could possibly be ignorant of the reports coming from military leaders and the intelligence experts who were telling the administration that their plan was essentially doomed. This seems far more like an orchestrated fall for Biden than an accident a miscalculation yes… on HIS part, but it seems somewhat clear that Harris among others in the administration simply allowed Biden to stumble into the pit they worked together to dig for him. Biden, the dotard that he’s proven himself to be, has clearly been duped.

Following Biden’s controversial presser the entire climate within the White House is reportedly changing with a cold hostility developing between Biden and Harris that hearkens back to their differences in the 2020 DNC Primary. According to Posobiec, the floor has dropped out between the two and Kamala is reportedly discussing the removal of Biden under the terms of 25th Amendment incapacity.
When Biden returns it will be an entirely different White House. Kamala refused to stand by him in his darkest hour. That dynamic will play out for the remainder of his time in office.

There’s a small problem though: how can Kamala Harris possibly make the case that she hasn’t been involved with the decisions which culminated in the fall of Kabul, when for months leading up to it, she has steadfastly maintained not only her support of Biden in his decisions but that she has been privy and party to behind the scenes discussions. She can no more back away from this crisis than Joe Biden can.
