Shop NowTrump pretty much dominated the entire CNN Town Hall that was run by Kaitlan Collins.
Trump talked over her, continued talking about a topic when she tried to move on, and just generally dominated the evening.
There was one moment, however, when his supporter erupted louder than we had heard all night long.
Nasty!
Collins was asking Trump about the classified documents that he took to Mar-a-Lago with him.
Collins hammered him on why he held those documents, getting a bit more aggressive than she had all night.
Trump started to interrupt her, asking if he could answer.
Collins shot back, “That’s why I asked the question.”
Trump then shot back, “It’s very simple… you are a nasty person.”
At that moment, the crowd ate it up and the internet started to explode with memes…

Trump surrogates have pointed to this moment as the moment that Trump won the GOP primary.
I think that is a bit of a bold statement.
But I will say Trump is clearly going to keep the same persona he had in 2016 and 2020.
This is the tiebreaker event, so we will see if this is a good strategy or not.
