Shop NowVideo of a massive fight between flight passengers and Spirit Airlines employees at the Philadelphia International Airport has gone viral.
The incident began when a mother and her teenage daughter were charged extra fees for their oversized carry-on luggage just as they were attempting to board their flight to Fort Lauderdale.
The mention of extra fees sent the mother and daughter pair into a complete frenzy as they began to get physical with gate agents, throwing fists.
The teen daughter was seen grabbing and pulling at a Spirit employee’s hair as another worker was slapping her over the head yelling at her to “get off.”
Surprisingly even a young boy, who is believed to be part of the same family, could be seen in the video running up hitting a worker before running off screaming.
Onlookers and other employees can be heard yelling for security backup.
Thankfully security arrived and broke up the aggressive scene, however in the aftermath of the brawl, the female passenger’s shirt and wig were torn off.

The Philadelphia Police Department reported only one serious injury, as one woman sustained a cut under her eye.
A passenger and onlooker offered a statement to DailyMail:
“I was shocked at how violent it was and how long it went on for. I don’t know exactly who started it, but there was a lot of yelling and I turned around to see two Spirit employees fighting a mother and a daughter. Someone was bleeding. At one stage a child got involved. Regardless of what he did, he’s just a kid – he looked distraught. If this is the way Spirit Airlines operates, it’s really scary.”
At this time, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
