Non-partisan?
The Biden disinformation board will be, according to White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, a non-partisan entity dedicated to giving Americans the objective truth and countering malicious disinformation campaigns.
Malicious disinformation campaigns like, for example, saying that only women can become pregnant and that the economy is getting worse under Biden.
And, of course, there is the Hunter Biden laptop story. Jankowicz personally contributed to the chorus of left-wing voices denouncing it as Russian propaganda during the 2020 election.
Now she is being rewarded with a job by the candidate she protected then. Her other activities prior to this appointment have largely consisted of attacking Republicans and Trump supporters and stoking liberal paranoia about Russian interference in American politics.
An individual who loyally served the Biden campaign during a crisis is now being placed into a position in which she will be allowed to speak with the authority of the Homeland Security Department.
Speculating about government corruption and cover-ups may now earn a “non-partisan” response from a board that can accuse critics of the White House of spreading Russian disinformation.
Back on the "laptop from hell," apparently- Biden notes 50 former natsec officials and 5 former CIA heads that believe the laptop is a Russian influence op.
Trump says "Russia, Russia, Russia."

Disinformation board made for party politics
Nina Jankowicz has a record that exudes partisanship and exists largely to confirm mainstream Democrat talking points with a very thin veneer of objectivity.
Like most fact-checkers, she is by default an asset of the left and of the United States government. Disinformation is whatever threatens their agenda and policy proposals.
As an “expert” in the field of disinformation, Jankowicz has the credentials and the loyalty to serve as a government mouthpiece in accusing conservatives of spreading foreign propaganda, which seems to be the intended purpose of the board.
Despite its being sold as a national security asset, the board is clearly meant primarily to influence domestic politics; other agencies exist to deal with international concerns. This Homeland Security board serves a different purpose.
Countering Russian or Chinese propaganda is unimportant for Jankowicz and her new subordinates. What is important is convincing Americans that certain information is foreign propaganda.
If the Department of Homeland Security and the White House actually cared about combating disinformation they would simply admit that Jankowicz is anything but neutral and non-partisan.
