The run of Republicans who are going to cross party lines and vote for Joe Biden has started.
My friends, I give you former Georgia Republican Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan.
Duncan has announced that he is going to vote for Biden over Trump because he is a “decent person.”
The Better Man
Duncan recently wrote an opinion piece in the local paper to explain why he is not going to vote for Donald Trump in the upcoming election.
He stated, “It’s disappointing to watch an increasing number of Republicans fall in line behind former president Donald Trump.”
He later wrote, “The GOP will never rebuild until we move on from the Trump era, leaving conservative (but not angry) Republicans like me no choice but to pull the lever for Biden. At the same time, we should work to elect GOP congressional majorities to block his second-term legislative agenda and provide a check and balance.”
Duncan concluded, “Unlike Trump, I’ve belonged to the GOP my entire life.
“This November, I am voting for a decent person I disagree with on policy over a criminal defendant without a moral compass.”
Joe Biden a decent person… digest that for a few seconds.
He wrote a book to profit off his son’s death, he has been accused of raping a woman, he has regularly made racist remarks against just about every minority you can think of, and he lies every time he opens his mouth, but he is a “decent man.”
I don’t know what is in the water in Georgia lately, but I hope they address it soon.
