So, this is the problem when you have closed-door hearings in congressional committees.
The American people are never told the absolute truth.
To that point, both the Democrat and Republican members of the House Oversight Committee are firing off shots against each other.
Just Tell the Truth
To be clear, both sides are cherry-picking notes here, giving completely different versions of the testimony that took place.
If there was ever an example of why all hearings should be on live TV, this is it.
After border agents testified, the Democrats ONLY took the parts of the testimony that would back their narrative and agenda.
For instance, they cherry-picked testimony that discussed the improvements agents have seen in terms of monitoring illegals.
Republicans were forced to respond.

You surely do not have to be a brain surgeon to know that Democrats are the ones on the wrong side of this argument.
To try to serve up the situation at the border as all strawberries and whipped cream when we know that not to the case is utterly ridiculous.
Sadly, there are plenty of people in this country that will swallow what Democrats are serving without even chewing.
