El Rushbo, America’s Anchorman behind the golden EIB mic just gave a voice to the beleaguered American people as he typically does, with half his brain tied behind his back. During his nationally syndicated show Dec. 9th Rush Limbaugh dropped a bombshell secession announcement. With American patriots nationwide already mobilizing Limbaugh’s analysis is making headlines.
The full “Secession” quote, in context
Let’s do something that The Hill, Newsweek, Mediaite, TheWrap and other members of the “Drive-By-Media” aren’t going to do. Let’s take take Rush Hudson Limbaugh in full context from the official rushlimbaugh.com transcript. When it comes to context I use the same 3-second rule that you would for driving. Three seconds before and three seconds after a quote, a tip I picked up from Steven Crowder.
“Okay. All right. Mr. Snerdley is asking if we’re ever going to be able to win. And he’s talking about elections. Votes.
Are we ever gonna be able to win without taking back some of these cities? He’s talking about blue cities like New York, Philadelphia. I assume you mean Detroit? (interruption) Do you include Milwaukee in this? (Interruption) Definitely. All right. What about Oakland, California? (interruption) Too far gone. San Francisco? (interruption) You think we can get San Francisco? Look, we won election after election after election without winning these cities or the states they’re in. (interruption)
I thought you were asking me something else when you said, “Can we win?” he began. I thought you meant can we win the culture, can we dominate the culture.” Rush said, “I actually think — and I’ve referenced this, I’ve alluded to this a couple of times cause I’ve seen others allude to this.” Finally, he arrived at the quote in question “I actually think that we’re trending toward secession. I see more and more people asking what in the world do we have in common with the people who live in, say, New York? What is there that makes us believe that there is enough of us there to even have a chance at winning New York, especially if you’re talking about votes. “
Alright, we’ll keep digging. Limbaugh expanded on the thought citing the work of bloggers and other political theorists,
“A lot of bloggers have written extensively about how distant and separated and how much more separated our culture is becoming politically and that it can’t go on this way. There cannot be a peaceful coexistence of two completely different theories of life, theories of government, theories of how we manage our affairs. We can’t be in this dire a conflict without something giving somewhere along the way.”
Other commentators have been talking about this for months, Rush just confirmed it.
Acclaimed Independent Journalist, Tim Pool formerly of Vice and Fusion, a man who made his name covering the Arab Spring, Occupy Wall Street and the Syrian Civil War (he knows what a Civil War looks like) has been talking about Civil War 2020 ALMOST DAILY since at least August. Tim Pool has described himself as “Center-Left”, so he serves as a somewhat reasonable counterbalance to the assertion that this is a purely right-leaning vision.
Founder of TheBlaze and a Conservative radio legend in his own right, Glenn Beck is a self-described “optimistic catastrophist”. Beck has warned that the American right and left are on a collision course for almost twenty-years. TheBlaze carried Glenn Beck’s 48-minute special “CIVIL WAR: The Way America Could End in 2020” in September, historians of the future may find the work prophetic.
It’s a long reading list on the Right and the Left
Civil War 2020 has been present in the Vox Populi since 2016, as Glenn Beck said it’s like “We’re being groomed” for the upcoming conflict. In October Left-wing host Bill Maher said “Let’s not have a civil war with the Trumpers,” on his HBO show. “We’re no good at war and they’re no good at being civil. Let’s skip the civil war and go right to reconciliation.” according to the New York Post.
Forbes magazine’s Seth Cohen wrote “The Boogaloo movement is a wake-up call for America” in June of 2020. The Atlantic interviewed Stewart Rhodes, Founder of the Oathkeepers in October, the interview is mostly a hit-piece against Rhodes and his organization, but one quote stood out. Mike Giglio wrote “When Trump warned of the potential for civil war at the start of the impeachment inquiry last fall, Rhodes voiced his assent on Twitter. “This is the truth,” he wrote. “This is where we are.”
In July, Brandon Morse of Redstate wrote,
“You are in a civil war even if you don’t know it, even if you don’t think you are, even if you’re laughing at the prospect. There are people in this country at war with you and what you love and they will do very underhanded things to defeat you. Ways where you won’t even know you’re being defeated. Even though there’s blood on the ground that’s not being spoken of already.”
Secession seems more possible then ever.
The situation since July has changed. 18 States and the President of the United States are filing amicus briefs in support of Texas vs. Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan & Wisconsin to toss out the results of the 2020 Election. The States of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina & Utah have officially filed motions to join the suit completely. In a legal sense, the battle lines have been drawn in a much more concrete way than many political theorists imagined. With a third of the states now stating legally that the election was illegitimate the potential for a split is significant.
To follow this situation to it’s logical conclusion, we could see a withdrawal of congressional delegations and even the establishment of an opposition government or secession, if the Supreme Court should refuse to hear the case, or rule against the plaintiff states. Only time will tell if this divide evolves from a political one, to a physical one.
"The States of Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Utah (“Intervening States”), through their undersigned counsel, respectfully file this motion for leave to intervene in this action and *JOIN* Plaintiffs’ Bill of Complaint."
