Our new “Border Czar,” Tom Homan, takes his job a whole lot more seriously than the last one. He’s already drawing up plans for the mass deportation of 20 million or so illegal invaders. Texas Governor Greg Abbott invited him for a late November conference and tour of the current border situation.
Homan the ‘right guy’
With Donald Trump back in the White House, where he belongs, Tom Homan as “Border Czar” was one of his first picks. Texas Governor Greg Abbott is thrilled with the outcome of November’s election.
He’s anxious to get the deportations moving full speed ahead, so invited the former ICE director for a security tour and planning session.
Homan was quick to justify the governor’s opinion that he’s “the right guy in charge.” His unwavering devotion to securing the border has already been proven. He can’t wait to deport illegal migrants.
In his most recent talk radio appearance on the “Cats Roundtable” program, Abbott gave a glowing endorsement of the incoming security official.
“We’ve got the right guy in charge of it. His name is Tom Homan. He’s going to be the border czar. I’ve already begun to work with him. He’s going to be joining me in Texas this coming week.”
It’s no secret that Abbott “clashed with the outgoing Biden administration over its dangerously lax border policies and refusal to cooperate with Texas on a crackdown.” He won’t hear that sort of nonsense from the new administration.
Now he has allies
During the worst of the invasion crisis, Abbott explains, “we’ve had people who were antagonistic to Texas securing the border.” He can finally breathe a sigh of relief. “Now we have allies. It’s going to be Texas working collaboratively with the Trump administration.” He’s already working close with Homan to make solid plans.
“For one, we’re going to secure the border. For another, we’re going to have to remove from our country all these dangerous criminals to restore peace and safety in our communities.”
That especially includes “arresting and deporting members of the Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua.” Not only is that a “top priority” for Texas, it is for the Trump administration as well. When liberals started quizzing Homan about how he was going to make that happen, considering Venezuela refuses to take back deportees, he had a real simple answer. Actually, more than one answer, as contingency plans.
First choice will be Trump calling Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro Moros and asking nicely to take them back. If that doesn’t work, there are sanctions which can be levied. If sanctions don’t scare them, we can yank their foreign aid. As a last resort, if none of those options pan out, Venezuela has beaches. We can just drop them there.
“You’ve seen these outbreaks of the Tren de Aragua gang members,” Abbott recently told an audience in New York. “We have the Tren de Aragua members in Texas also. We have to stop the murders by the people who Biden allowed into the country illegally.” TdA is nothing but a “terrorist organization.”
That’s why he’s so pleased to be working side by side with Homan. The staunch defender of America “has said that deporting the gang members is part of his mission.” Abbott warned, “we’ve made hundreds of arrests already. If you’re a member of Tren de Aragua in Texas, you’re going to be arrested. You’re going to be jailed.“
