Benjamin Netanyahu was so thrilled Donald Trump won the U.S. presidential election that he fired his defense minister. Yoav Gallant was and way to friendly with Antony Blinken. When the Israeli Prime Minister visited the UN recently, he had meetings with Joe and Kamala. Her snubs nearly started an international incident, along with a few well placed leaks. Afterward, he was received with dignity and competence by Trump, at Mar-a-Lago. He’s breathing a heavy sigh of relief that the right candidate won.
Netanyahu loves Trump
Benjamin Netanyahu has clear objectives in mind regarding his current war. Iran’s Ayatollah needs to be restrained like a dog on a chain, before his radical ideas of religion wipe out mankind. As part of that project, Hamas needs to be totally destroyed. Hezbollah is next on the list for annihilation, followed by Yemen’s Houthis. American Democrats have been working for his enemy.
Joe’s “legacy” of a cease-fire with Hamas was doomed to failure from the start. There’s no way Israel will let up the pressure until the terror group surrenders or starves. Donald Trump is fully behind those plans and ready to help.
Out of all the world leaders, Benjamin Netanyahu was the first to call Trump with congratulations.
He had been glued to Tel Aviv’s coverage for hours, as Tuesday night turned into Wednesday morning in the states, he waited for the left-leaning media to grudgingly acknowledged Trump as the fair winner. As the words were coming out the announcer’s mouth, Bibi was reaching for his phone.
He was terrified Kamala had more dirty tricks up her sleeve. It’s a good thing she was running instead of Joe. His dementia and incompetence weren’t even factors because Democrats had all the votes for him they needed. All boxed up and ready to run through the counting machines. There wasn’t nearly enough time to do it again with Kamala’s name on them.
“Congratulations on history’s greatest comeback!” Netanyahu posted on Elon Musk’s X, shortly after the call. He added “a picture of himself and his wife Sara next to the president-elect.” Below the snapshot he noted, “your historic return to the White House offers a new beginning for America and a powerful re-commitment to the great alliance between Israel and America.”
A huge victory
This, the prime minister wrote, “is a huge victory!” He should have said “Yuuuge,” then signed off “in true friendship, yours, Benjamin and Sara Netanyahu.” The relief is clear in his tone. Trump’s phone was ringing off the hook with overseas calls all day.
“Other world leaders also jumped to congratulate Trump, including Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who said he hopes they will finally be able to end Russia’s war on Ukraine.”
Just before meeting with Netanyahu, Trump had a similar conference with Zelenskyy. They put their heads together on ways to convince Vladimir Putin to end the war in a way which isn’t a win for the Russians.
Ukraine’s president looks “forward to an era of a strong United States of America under President Trump’s decisive leadership.”
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban pointed out something the media cringes to report. “They threatened him with prison, they took his property, they wanted to kill him and he still won.” That’s why Netanyahu wants him on his side. And also why he doesn’t want Yoav Gallant hanging around the security council meetings.
In recent months, “as defense minister, Gallant argued that Israel’s government should prioritize a hostage release deal with Hamas and end the war in Gaza.” Go hide in Joe Biden’s basement and you can eat ice cream together while Trump and I save the planet, Netanyahu implied.
