It was not an overwhelming win for Trump, by any means, but the majority did vote to bring him back.
When Musk made the formal announcement, liberals on the site just about exploded.
Can’t Take It
The dramatics were completely over the top.
For instance, “journalist” David Leavitt, tweeted, “How many Americans will die because @elonmusk brought @realDonaldTrump back onto Twitter? He’s Back and every American who dies because of @realDonaldTrump being back on Twitter is @ElonMusk’s fault.”
Rob Reiner chimed in, stating, “Elon Musk is letting a man who led a violent Insurrection to overthrow the United States Government back on this platform.
“Letting the Lies and Disinformation continue to poison the American bloodstream.”
Anti-Trump Republican Liz Cheney wrote, “With Trump back on Twitter, it’s a good time to watch this Jan 6 hearing.
“It covers each of Trump’s tweets that day, including those that have been deleted, and features multiple Trump WH staff describing his inexcusable conduct during the violence.”
There were others that called for Twitter to be ended for letting Trump back on.
Ironically, Trump stated that he has no real reason to return to Twitter now that Truth Social is up and running.
From a financial perspective, he is right.
Why contribute to Twitter’s success when he has a monopoly on Truth Social?
The only question will Trump’s ego to reach the masses overrule the common sense business decision?
Something tells me Trump is already twitching to tweet, and it will only be a matter of time before he lets loose.
