Shop NowPolitico’s Ruby Cramer and the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee or DLCC for short seem to be quite beside themselves in uncertainty and impotent rage. In a feature piece for Politico, “The Unintended Consequences of Outing the GOP Lawmakers at Jan. 6” Cramer tells the dirty, treacherous story of the DLCC’s national press secretary, Christina Polizzi, and Jessica Post, the group’s president. DLCC went to work immediately after the Jan. 6th Capitol riot with a single goal: coordinating the political assassination of every Republican who was either there, or even tangentially involved with, not even the riot itself, but the Save America rally and the efforts to stop the steal in the 2020 Election as well. Early on their target list and yes, it was a literal hit list in the form of an excel spreadsheet, was Pennsylvania State Senator Doug Mastriano. What they really hadn’t counted on was that their efforts to “call out” their idealogical foes would backfire quite so spectacularly. Most Republicans they targeted with attacks benefited from a boosted image with the GOP base!
Cramer seemed amazed by this writing,
“Rather than shaming Republican state lawmakers out of office, Democrats found that many of the names on the list avoided pushback from party leaders in their state, grew their political platform and online following, and in at least three cases are now running for statewide office under the banner of former President Donald Trump”
“In terms of seeing any difference on the ground,” Polizzi said, “the only thing that we can point to is awareness of who these legislators are, but I don’t think that it has changed Republicans one iota.”
Dems Are Telling Republicans Who They’re Afraid Of
What the leftists at the DLCC and indeed at Politico fail to grasp is that Republicans are OVERWHELMINGLY in support of the Save America Rally, the #StopTheSteal movement to secure our elections and also overwhelmingly believe that Joe Biden came to office only through electoral fraud and manipulation.
Patriot United News wrote that a series of Luntz polls show that, “Despite their criticism of his conduct since November 3rd and last week, 𝟵𝟭% of Trump voters say they’d still vote for him if another presidential election were held today,”
Luntz wrote,
“𝟳𝟯% of Trump voters still say the election system is “rigged,” even after being reminded that Trump and his allies lost more than 60 cases in court challenging election results.”
He continued,
“I asked 800 Trump voters about the 2020 election. • 78% agree with Trump’s claims that it was “stolen.” 67% believe if you count the votes “accurately and fairly,” Trump would win.”
“I asked them if they may have to use force to “save the traditional American way of life.” 𝟲𝟰% of them agreed.”
“Never say “never,” but 𝟲𝟭% of Trump voters say they will never trust American election results again.”
So why should it be a shock to them that their calling out Republicans for taking action against this, (albeit action which the GOP nearly universally agrees got out of hand, but nowhere near approaches a so-called “insurrection”) would actually be a boon and an enhancement to their popularity with the GOP base. All that the DLCC has done is compile a list for conservatives of whom we should support most, those who are in the crosshairs of the left and have stood firm despite it.
Most Republicans (but certainly not all) draw the line at those who physically entered the capitol building as was seen with Derrick Evans, a West Virginia delegate who live-streamed himself as he entered the building “We’re in! We’re in! Derrick Evans is in the Capitol!” who later resigned.
The RSLC, which is the DLCC’s Republican counterpart simply made a statement condemning the violence that day, just as they should’ve. Beyond trespassing and some property damage. No other crime was committed by the rioters. Polticians’ jangled nerves don’t count. There was one real crime committed that day: the murder of Ashlii Babbitt.
Politico wrote, in a somewhat condemning tone,
“Andrew Romeo, an RSLC spokesperson, said the group has “condemned the violence on Jan. 6 on numerous occasions and will continue to do so.” State Democrats, he said, have been “backed into a corner this election cycle for embracing the failed record of their far-left partners running Washington” and are attempting to “distract from the chaos they have created across the country.” Romeo did not answer questions about the group’s endorsement of “Stop the Steal”-supporting candidates.”
The GOP Is Boosted Every Time They DLCC Puts A Hit On Them
The DLCC, the DNC, and the media just don’t seem to realize: that they have negative credibility with Republicans in this country, and it has been their own doing. Having so deeply committed themselves to objectively obvious lies over the last decade, gradually under Bush and Obama and only becoming terrifyingly clear under Trump, not only do we not believe them, but we know that the information they give is an inversion of the truth. Ergo, those they criticize will almost certainly be praised barring any evidence of wrongdoing. Evidence, which the left can never seem to come up with, which even when they manufacture some, never survives scrutiny.
Much to the Democrat’s dismay, politicians like PA’s Doug Mastriano, and Arizona’s Mark Finchem, are showing huge support from the GOP grassroots now. Mastriano is allegedly eyeing the Governorship, Finchem is lining up to primary for Secretary of State, others like PA veteran Teddy Daniels are running for Congress. Their scorn, condemnation, and derision don’t hurt Republicans anymore… it helps. There’s a quote that is misattributed to Gandhi, but it’s still valid: “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”
