Shop NowAfter a bill passed in the Senate to have the COVID documents declassified, Democrat leadership hinted it would fight the bill.
Democratic Caucus Chairman Pete Aguilar (D-CA) hinted that he would not back the legislation.
His reasoning was that such decisions were to be left to the executive branch.
Well, he was just made to look the fool.
Leave It Up to Joe
When Aguilar was asked about the legislation, he stated, “We believe in letting committees of jurisdiction guide the discussions ahead, working with the administration and asking the administration tough questions.
“And when we can do that in a way that can be shared with the American public we will, but declassification conversations are best left to the executive.”
That plan, however, went right down the tank on Friday.
Democrat Leader Jeffries (D-N.Y.) apparently dropped the hammer.
The bill ended up passing the House floor with a vote of 419-0, which is going to make it very difficult for Joe Biden to veto.
Not a single member of Congress in either chamber voted against the legislation.
I don’t know how Joe Biden can justify vetoing legislation with such overwhelming support.
Besides, if he does veto the bill, it clearly has enough support where Congress can override Biden, which would be an absolute disaster.
House Permanent Select Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner (R-OH) stated, “The American public deserves answers to every aspect of the COVID-19 pandemic, including how this virus was created and specifically, whether it was a natural occurrence of was the result of a lab-related event.”
Rep. Greg Murphy (R-N.C.) added, “In January of 2020, Dr. Fauci received emails that promulgated that COVID-19 looked engineered and not from the wild.
“Yet three weeks later, to save his own skin, he commissioned a scientific paper which ‘debunked’ the lab theory. He was academically and intellectually dishonest.”
It sounds to me like Dr. Fauci has a very significant problem on his hands.
