Christopher Wray Decides He Doesn’t Need to Testify

Everyone thinks Chris Wray and Alejandro Mayorkas skipped the big Senate hearing on Thursday just to flip the bird at Josh Hawley. The Missouri Senator thinks so, too. He claims the pair of renegade officials skipped the proceeding “to avoid criticism over the verdict in the case of Laken Riley’s murder.” Hawley was all set to rub their noses in the fact he was a violent illegal alien killer who slipped through their asylum cracks.

Officials ditch hearing

According to Missouri Republican Senator Josh Hawley, “Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and FBI Director Christopher Wray skipped a public Senate hearing Thursday to avoid criticism over the verdict in the case of Laken Riley’s murder.

The Deep State duo “were scheduled to testify before the Senate Homeland Security Committee.

Skipping the hearing was a snub to Democrats, too. That particular committee is headed by one. Things started out with a “postponement” after Wray and Mayorkas insisted that the proceeding be considered “classified and not open to the public.

That’s not acceptable. Hawley “is calling on committee chairman,” Michigan Democrat Gary Peters, “to subpoena the pair’s public testimony.

While he had the attention of the liberal media, Hawley took advantage of it. “Let’s not forget who let him into country,” the Senator began, referring to Jose Ibarra. He’s the one who brutally murdered Ms. Riley. Mayorkas refused to attend the hearing because he’s already been replaced.

Mayorkas lied about how he got into country. He said authorities didn’t have information about his past crimes. False. Then he claimed he didn’t remember the details. False. Now he’s refusing to comment.” Wray is also looking for another job.

Let’s not forget who let him into country.

Playing games with Congress

Ibarra should have been behind bars somewhere much closer to the equator but liberal Democrat policies attracted him to the sanctuary of New York City. That’s a place Christopher Wray refuses to enforce the law in.

Ibarra will now be supported by the American taxpayers for the rest of his life in prison. It’s no wonder the two progressive officials would be afraid to attend the Senate hearing.

The day before, both Mayorkas and Wray “forced the postponement of their testimony before Congress by insisting on a classified setting.” They say that there are huge threats to America but they don’t want to actually tell anyone about them. Not in any sort of public hearing.

We’re supposed to trust them to simply “handle” the crisis. If congress wants to know what they’re up to, it will have to be in a setting where they can’t alert the public. Probably because it’s deplorable Trump supporters that the outgoing administration is terrified of.

Both men were rescheduled to meet with the House Homeland Security Committee in December. Just to find out what they’re up to, that hearing “will be classified.” Republicans on the Senate side aren’t ready to cave in. According to Hawley, “the Senate would not comply so easily.

He’s “formally calling on Peters to issue subpoenas to force both Mayorkas and Wray to testify publicly.” He might as well type up the contempt of congress paperwork to go with those subpoenas. He’s going to need it if he ever wants to see them in a public hearing.
